Ra’Shaud lived a life to be remembered.

This was true when he was walking on this Earth, and is even more true now that he is looking at us from above.

I, Alysse, Ra’Shaud’s fiancé, feel the need to tend to the seeds that he laid.

A year or so ago, Ra’Shaud felt like he needed a space on the internet to serve as a landing spot for his budding public speaking career, and love for sharing inspirational messages. With my experience in blogging, I started the website and he started writing. Bringing this website to fruition is providing me a sense of purpose and passion in a new world that I don’t recognize without him.

Second & Nine is Ra’Shaud’s idea, his interpretation of the scripture, and his philosophy for life. Together, we dreamed of the days he’d be on the big stage sharing the Gospel through his story and motivating everyone to live with both tenacity and integrity.

Now that Ra’Shaud is on the ultimate stage, I hope to use what little platform I have to continue his dream. Second & Nine is all Ra’Shaud, I’m just the one still on Earth able to share it with all of you, which I think is what he would have wanted.
